Dave has been a Realtor since 2005. In that time he has had the opportunity to help many individuals and families to achieve their real estate aspirations. An award winner in each year of his real estate career, Dave now regularly ranks among the top 3% or higher of Realtors nationwide.
Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Dave was a top manager for Bell Distribution Inc., the retail operations arm of Bell Canada Enterprises. In his time there, Dave set policy, implemented strategies and pushed training for employees to embrace a mindset of client service as an end, as opposed to a means.
We are in the midst of a revolution in the customer service industry. It is no longer sufficient to say the customer is always right. It is necessary now to embrace the idea that the customer has rights. The customer has the right to expect that their needs be put first, that their service provider advocate for them and that they, not their business, be valued. The organizations that adopt a policy of building loyal customers as opposed to building their bottom lines will separate themselves in the new reality that is the 21st century customer service market. When considering a career in real estate, I saw an opportunity to bring this approach to customer service to an industry in which I felt it was rarely seen. In the end, it is the buyers and sellers of real estate who are the only force that drive the real estate market. It is not the agent, it is not the marketing plan and it's not the house. The clients needs and wants in terms of service from their real estate professional should be the first priority; always.
Where you see a For Sale sign with the OttawaDreamHouse logo on it, you will find a satisfied customer, because that is the end, not the means.
Dave grew up all over Canada as part of a military family. He has called Cold Lake, Alberta; Kingston, Ontario; Inuvik, Northwest Territories; Gander, Newfoundland and of course, Ottawa, home. Dave enjoys time with his wife and family.
